In order to introduce new ore deposits to our economy and to bring out the full potential of our current mines, Özkoyuncu Madencilik undertakes more than 15.000 meters of exploratory drilling every year.

As a result of our determined exploration activities, two new high potential sites have been identified in 2011. Mentes Dere, with minimum reserves of 6 million tons of high quality hematite and goethite ore and Mentes Bati (initial reserve estimates are being worked on).
