Özkoyuncu Madencilik’s mining sites are located in Kayseri’s Yahyali province. Our iron ore mines represent Turkey’s richest and largest directly chargeable-quality iron ore deposits. While current production is concentrated in ten sites, two new underground mines with considerable reserves are planned to be started in the near future. Our annual ore production is around 2 million tons.

Özkoyuncu Madencilik produce mainly goethite and hematite ore. We also produce magnetite ore which is suitable for enrichment in our Karamadazi site. Average Fe level of our iron ore, based on extensive drills and block models, is 58% with low impurities.

At our planned production pace, our proven reserves, will be sustainable for 30 years.
